Thank you kindly for taking an interest in my work.

Ethos

My friend, Chris, recently told me my images felt “effortless.” I felt that was the best of compliments and something I really aspire toward for my work. A vast majority of my travels are photographed on the Leica Q2 and Leica Q3 43 - a compact setup with classic fixed-lens contraints, which I lovingly embrace. Perfectly mobile, perfect for a snapshot-approach. With many of the places I visit, I cling on to little motifs I observe across my tens of thousands of steps a day. Neatly stacked patio chairs, the bike-strewn curbsides of Denmark and the Netherlands, the curves and etches and tones of the local architecture. I hope you enjoy what you pick out.

How I work
By default, I typically travel for a low footprint and with the above-listed equipment on hand. I find this quite capable for editorial or documentary intentions, but also much of my hospitality-forward vignettes. Still, during a project consultation, it’s important to note any substantial menu, lifestyle, or focuses otherwise, as I may plan to lean into my additional medium format, telephoto lensing, or lighting resources.

You can find my separate, commercial-directed portfolio here.
